What to Bring to a Kids Playroom—and What You Can Leave at Home

The most useful thing to bring to a first Playroom visit is not a bag full of entertainment. It is a realistic idea of how long your child may want to stay.

Siamese Cat Creative Club offers one-hour and two-hour Kids Playroom entry near Mega Bangna. A parent or guardian remains on the premises throughout the visit. That makes preparation simpler, but a few choices can make the arrival easier.

Bring clothes made for the activity, not the photograph

Choose comfortable clothing the child can move in and that can survive ordinary play. If you expect to add coloring, crayons or soft clay, avoid an outfit that will make every mark feel like an emergency.

The Kids Playroom does not require socks. The separate cat room does require socks, so bring a pair if a cat-room visit is part of your confirmed plan. Animal visits are not guaranteed and depend on availability, staff scheduling, child readiness and animal welfare.

Bring the information staff actually need

For a casual parent-accompanied visit, the accompanying adult is still responsible for the child. Even so, the team should know about information that affects safe participation.

Tell staff directly about relevant allergies, medical needs, food restrictions or support needs before the session. Do not rely on a note buried in an old message thread. If another adult may join or collect the child as part of a separately arranged service, confirm the applicable procedure in advance.

Bring any essential personal medication only after discussing whether and how it can be handled. A Playroom is not a medical-care setting.

Bring water and familiar essentials

A clearly named water bottle is useful. Younger children may also need the ordinary items their accompanying adult already carries: wipes, spare clothing or toileting supplies appropriate to the child.

Avoid valuable toys, jewelry or electronics that could be lost among shared materials. The Playroom already provides toys and play choices. A familiar comfort item can help some children enter a new space, but it does not need to become another object the adult must track all afternoon.

Know what entry already includes

Each child’s Playroom entry includes one accompanying adult and one coloring sheet. Current published prices are:

• 1 hour: 149 THB per child;
• 2 hours: 249 THB per child;
• an additional hour after entry: 80 THB, subject to available space;
• an additional adult: 50 THB per hour.

The separate staff-guided crayon and soft-clay activities cost extra. Ask what materials or figures are available before promising a particular project to the child.

Knowing these boundaries prevents two common misunderstandings: the included coloring sheet is not the same as the 45 THB guided crayon activity, and the additional-hour rate is available only after an initial entry.

Leave the packed schedule at home

A first visit does not need to include indoor play, a craft, an animal visit, food and a perfect family photograph. Pick one or two priorities.

For a cautious child, one hour may be enough to learn how they enter the space and what they approach. For a child who settles quickly, two hours leaves more room to move between play and a creative activity. Ask staff before extending rather than announcing extra time to the child in advance.

Before leaving home, confirm availability—particularly on weekends, holidays or when you have a fixed family schedule. Then bring comfortable clothes, the information that matters and fewer belongings than you first planned.
